As part of our commitment to continued platform improvements and currency, MediRecords will be undertaking a minor upgrade of our RDS (Relational Database Service) on Sunday 18th August.

This minor upgrade is being schedule to further enhance security of our databases and apply appropriate bug fixes as required.

So what does this mean for our customers?

During the upgrade, MediRecords will be unavailable for 30 minutes between 9:00PM – 9:30PM AEDT on Sunday 18th August.

To ensure you have time to implement your own business continuity procedures, we are providing 2 weeks’ notice.

We anticipate the upgrade to progress seamlessly and finish by no later than 9:30PM AEDT.

In the event that any complications arise that result in an extension of the planned outage, we will provide updates via our support team at support@medirecords.com

If you experience any issues you believe is associated with the outage, you can submit a ticket to Zendesk: https://support.medirecords.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and under ‘Reason for Request’, select “There is a System Outage”.

This will then trigger a notification to our on call team to review with the appropriate team lead managing the upgrade and respond accordingly to our customers.
